Bee's had moved into an old stump. Tim our neighbour from next door is a keen bee keeper so he was happy to re locate them to a hive and harvest the fresh bush honey.

A day off visiting friends on their farm at Beulah, lots of interesting things to see.
Max!
Terri and Max at Roland Park Organic farm, a great day.
Chickens hatching in the incubator, then we put them under a broody chicken and now she is raising them as her own :)
Chicken production in full swing.
The master pizza cook after a few lessons.
The finish product, Max always has time for a quick photo of the meals.
Quick trip to the East Coast, with really clear water we watched dolphins playing off the beach.

Max is joined by his beautiful girlfriend Keira for a week and visit Hobart, Salamanca markets and the east coast.
In October 2014 we welcomed our first farm helper, Max, from Hamburg, Germany. He had his own flag with him so it was only fitting to fly it while he was with us, especially given that Germany had recently won the World Cup.
Max helping with the cattle.
An excursion to the Gorge in Launceston, and he also did the 10km run around it with Steven twice while he was here.
Helping in the cattle yards.
Chainsawing wood for Winter.

Saturdays would not be the same without a wood fired
pizza straight from the oven.
Jack said " Please, don't let anyone see me looking like this",
but we couldn't resist it, sorry Jack.
A view of the Tamar River looking south toward Launceston.
A fantastic little new born bull calf.
Garlic hanging to dry in the old dairy.
Some of our Herefords..........2006
Part of the waterfall at the creek on the far side of the property.
Spring time feeding.
Catching Flat head is great fun on the river at anytime.
A frost like this is rare up here, and this one was a beaut.
Our first bull, "Nathan", ( Richmond Hill Stud - Bracknell, Tas. )set us
up for breeding good quality stock which we have been proud to send to market.
